Deadpool Finally Meets Cable in New Trailer

The week of high profile trailers continue. Today we got our first official look at the new trailer for Deadpool 2. It offered everything you’d want from the trailer for the long awaited Deadpool sequel. Juvenile Humor, Meta references & our first real look at Josh Brolin in all his Cable glory. The trailer also gives us some glimpses at Domino, Negasonic Teenage Warhead & Julian Dennison (Ricky Baker!). Check out the trailer below:

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first Deadpool when I saw it, but if definitely won me over on repeat viewings. This new movie also looks like so much damn fun that it’s hard not to be excited. Add to all this that David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde) has come on to direct. Leitch has an incredible eye for action and if the movie can mix that with humor and character that Reynolds and writers Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese seem to have such a firm grasp on. We might have something really special on our hands. The film is being released on May 18, 2018. If you’re curious as to what the actual plot of the movie is, check out the full synopsis from 21st Century Fox.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

This movie absolutely refuses to be serious about anything and I love and respect it for that. Are you excited for the new Deadpool movie? Where does it rank for you in an incredibly loaded summer?
