Jeffery Ross Roasts Criminals: Live At Brazos County Jail

The king of roast has poked fun at Justin Bieber, David Hasselhof and Pamela Anderson just to name a few. While Justin Bieber deserves to be in a jail, Jeff has never faced a tougher crowd than the one he did during his Live at Brazos Country Jail Comedy Central special. You heard me. Jeffery Ross, roasted a bunch of criminals in prison. Murderers. Yikes.

Ross is known as the Roastmaster general, and he’s also been called the meanest man in comedy, which he says is “a blessing and a curse.” It’s not a bad way to make a living, he says, “but every now and then somebody wants to kill me.”

Part of Ross’ preparation for the special involved living like a prisoner. Ross spent three days in the prison, sleeping in a cell, playing basketball in the yard, hanging with the inmates and hearing their stories, gaining insight, and material for the special.

The extended and uncensored version of “Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live at Brazos County Jail” will be available on June 14 in the Comedy Central App to fans that sign in via their cable or satellite provider.
